Magical Afternoon
The afternoon was a great way to spend, although the venue wasn't exactly what I expected. My mom, who isn't a big fan of Saxsquatch or orchestra music, enjoyed it. I wished at times to hear just the music without the movie, but together they added another layer to the experience. It made me realize how often the music is overlooked in movies. Long lines to the bathroom and food stands were disappointing. I bought seats a few rows back from the stage, anticipating a larger distance between us and the screen. Both my mom and I ended up with sore necks from looking up at the screen, and I wished for a better angle to see more than just the string sections of the orchestra. Despite that, the whole experience was magical and I'm eager to do it again. It reignited my love for Harry Potter, almost feeling like experiencing it anew. Dressing up in my HP gear/costume was a fun excuse.
